DESCRIPTION:
The AE20401 is a kit for a 5.8 GHz Frequency Counter/ Power Meter / Pulse Counter that measures Frequency, Period, RPM and Power
The
AE20401
is a versatile instrument that combines three different functions:
A Frequency Counter
- from mHz to 5.8 GHz
Power Meter
- 500 MHz / 85 dB or 8 GHz / 50 dB
Pulse Counter
- adjustable number of pulses per count, external gate input
The USB Interface allows to readout the measured values of all modes and control all functions. The
included software
(see below) also enables advanced features like charting, logging, pass/fail, statistics etc.

A comprehensive printed 64 pages Assembly and Operation Manual is included (in english, german and english manuals in PDF format also available on the enclosed CD).
The manual covers all the techniques needed including soldering.
All SMD parts are pre-assembled, only through-hole components have to be soldered!
The kit contains all necessary parts, the programmed and tested microcontroller, the high quality, E-Tested PCB with gold finish and a 2x16 LCD with backlight. No additional parts or components are required!
Yellow-green or blue backlight is selectable at no additional cost. A machined enclosure is also available (see below).
This kit is also suitable for beginners in electronics.
