You MUST wait at least 30 minutes AFTER the last drink was consumed, to get an accurate reading.  It takes 30 minutes for the alcohol to metabolize into the bloodstream to be able to give an accurate test.

A mouthpiece is required - just blow into the sensor and your BAC is displayed in seconds on the easy to read LCD screen. This model is easy to use and affordable. You may purchase mouthpieces one at a time, or 100 at a time. It is recommend to purchase them in packs of 100.
