BMW 3 Series USB adapter CTABMUSB007 features
BMW USB adapter simply plugs into the CD changer input at the rear of the BMW 3 Series radio (see compatibility information below).
To access an external USB device via the interface simply select CDC or CD Changer mode on your stereo.
To access music it is important that the music has been saved/organised into folders named CD01, CD02 ... CD06. It is recommended that each folder contains a maximum of 99 tracks/songs.
To change tracks use the seek buttons on the stereo or steering wheel controls.
Random track play can be activated by pressing the random button if present on stereo.

This BMW USB adapter is for BMW models with a 17 round pin CD changer connector at the rear. Please check the back of your radio for a connector that looks like this:

Installation
The Connects2 in car USB Interface connects to the CD changer port located on the reverse of your car stereo, for high quality sound without interference. Please ensure your radio has the relevant CD changer input. Depending on your vehicle, the CD changer port will either be accessible from the passenger side or the radio will have to be removed.
