Here are a few additional notes:
- This seems to be a
Lachenal edeophone rebranded for the seller A. M. Ross in Glasgow.
- I have no information about the provenance, except that it belongs to my father, who collects concertinas and often buys them through ebay, flea markets, yard sales, antiques shops, etc.
- I tested the air-tightness by holding the concertina up with one hand and seeing how long it takes for the bellows to open. I tried a couple times: at 7.5 seconds it was basically opened, but there was still a little movement downward up until 11 seconds.
- The keys: I counted about 6 keys that did not hit distinct notes. Sometimes notes played even when I wasn't pressing them.
- Look at the final picture: I don't know if that is where there is a missing key? Or whether that hold is supposed to be there.
