HOBART AIRFORCE 27i PLASMA CUTTER nib 500575.
The Hobart® AirForce 27i is a lightweight, inverter-based designed plasma cutter that uses an electrical arc and compressed air to cut steel, aluminum, and other conductive material. Compared to oxy-fuel cutting torches, this welder cuts faster and more precisely, resulting in a thinner kerf and less slag to clean up. Designed to help simplify your welding process, the AirForce 27i has a smaller heat-affected zone for less warping; requires no gas pressure settings or flame tuning; and eliminates the need for pre-heating your metal. This plasma cutter requires the use of an air compressor - 3.0 CFM at 90-120 PSI recommended. Includes XT30R torch with 12' lead and consumables, 12' work cable with clamp, and a 10' power cord with 120V/15A and 240V/50A plugs.
Dual-voltage capability with MVP (multi-voltage plug)- allows you to connect to common 120 or 240 V power receptacles without the use of any tools
Dual-voltage capability with MVP (multi-voltage plug)- 27A output
Cuts mild steel up to 1/8in. @ 10in. per minute; 1/4in. mild steel @ 3in. per minute
