The absolute best Magnetic Plasma Torch Breakaway available for the price! CNC machined and built entirely in the USA utilizing aircraft grade aluminum and anodized red. The Plasma Torch Protection System's breakaway base mounting has 7 different mounting patterns which allows mounting to most CNC torch risers in a matter of minutes!  Basic mounting hardware included.  The breakaway utilizes 8 rare earth Neodymium magnets pressed into precision counter bores which prevents the magnets from ever pulling out of their attracting sides. There are 4 magnets on the breakaway mounting base and 4 on the plasma torch mount.  This allows the two sides to self align.  It costs us more to build it this way but makes for a far superior design than those who only have magnets on one side and a metal plate with locating pins on the other side.  Plasma Torch Protection System's breakaway magnets  provide 58 pounds of holding force which is a perfect amount of retaining force to protect not only the plasma torch but the gantry as well. Another feature of the Plasma Torch Protection System is that the plasma torch clamp move out of its standard vertical position and pivot and lock into the 15, 30 and 45 degree positions to allow for your plasma torch to bevel cut plate.  The Plasma Torch Protection System breakaway is shipped with the industry standard 1 3/8" diameter torch clamp.   We offer a 1 3/4" plasma torch clamp for the Hypertherm Model 125. All Plasma Torch Protection System's torch clamps are broached allowing you to retain your machine torch gear rack if equipped with one.
